ABOUT HIND MACHTI

I Hind Machti, was born on July 1994 in Marrakech, Morocco.  I am a young, ambitious and dynamic architect. I was lucky to live in a country of allure and Beauty. My country has been influenced by many cultures throughout the history. Its art and architecture reflect an amalgam of African tribes, Islamic traditions from Arab neighbors, European colonizers and Hispanic-Moorish Culture.
With that being said, It was only Natural for me to grow fund of the mysteries of architecture. At an early age I started wandering the walled cities admiring the geometric patterns and colorful tiles. I had the chance to play in open courtyards with lavish gardens in the center of Riads.
Growing up my curiosity about architecture was increasing while being passionate about arts and music, I started playing piano at 6 years old and I never wanted to give up the artistic side of me. By my second year of high school, I made up my mind, I majored in physics and decided to Study architecture as a field that encapsulates all of my interests.
I had the opportunity to translate my dreams into life goals and got to study what I love. I was then granted the opportunity to study in Eastern Mediterranean university in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in which i  discovered and lived within Greek and Turkish culture with a different architectural aspect.
Since then, I graduated with a bachelor degree followed by a Masters in architecture science with a research interest in passive building design that led to writing a thesis titled “Passive Building Design Strategy According to Design Parameters in Hot Climate Magusa Case”.
Architecture Shaped who I am today and changed my perception of the world. With hard work i wish to fulfil my intellectual goals and become an accomplished Architect.
